A Fathers Love… has no distance

My fathers love, what a love!

No one could ask for more,

Can’t remember a day I went without knowing Him,

Even as a little child, I knew I could call on him…

When I was in trouble, I called

Abba Father

I was His and his alone

And as I grew older our relationship grew stronger,

Till my years of trying to walk on my own.

But as I look back now

I see He was always there,

My pillow to cry on,

My shoulder to lean on,

Even there to hear me scream,

When frustration I could no longer bare.

A father’s love has no distance

These reasons I tell you why

For even when I turned my back

He was there, I tell no lie.

He was there silently waiting

For me to run into his arms.

He longed to hold me near,

To lift me up high and to see me shine.

The apple of his eye.

His love the unconditional way

No matter how thick or thin,

He’ll never take his love away

I’m so proud to say I love Him,

Like a child in the playground

I can say to the world

My dad’s better then your Dad.

I don’t need to beg for love or for gifts

He gives them gladly

And if I’m truly good he gives them abundantly

Who could ask for more?
